This long-term captive banded rock rattlesnake Crotalus lepidus klauberi behaved by posing in a relaxed position in my photo studio's set.  Allowing it to tuck slightly under a rock added a dash of realism to this shot of a rocky desert dweller from extreme western Texas.  The only detail I'll watch for next time is to not let its tongue overlap a black portion of its body and thus partially disappear from sight.
